Much is gaining attention these days the city of Venice. As every year we celebrate the "Venice Film Festival, one of the most popular film festivals.
Although held annually, the Venice Film Festival is part of the Biennale ( Biennale), Venice (international art exhibition held every 2 years).

The first edition of the Venice Film Festival was held in 1932 in the hotel Exelcior, but great success prompted the construction of a specific site for future editions of the festival. This site is the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, located in the island of Lido, in the city of Venice. The palace presents the films in competition and where the famous Great Hall (with a capacity of 1078 persons) and the Sala Volpi (capacity 171 people).

The Venice Film Festival is usually held in late August and lasts about 10 days.
